What is consent for AI and recording?
Consent here means a person agreed to the specific use: recording a lesson, transcribing a call, or feeding their message to a tool. A privacy policy they did not see is not the same as a clear ask. Rules differ by place. This page is not legal advice.

If you record, say so in a way a person can hear or read before the recording matters. If you want to turn a testimonial into an ad, ask. Burying consent in a terms link nobody opens, then transcribing anyway, is how trust breaks. So is reusing a customer's voice or photo in an ad because the tool made it easy. Do not treat a minor's lesson the same as an adult's newsletter signup. Ask the adult who is responsible.
