Claude for business

Claude for business is Anthropic's Claude chat for a company, sold as a Team plan or an Enterprise plan. Team starts at two people and goes to 150 seats. Enterprise is billed annually, with a seat fee plus usage at API rates. You still approve anything that leaves the building.

What it is

Anthropic's pricing page describes Claude as chat on the web, desktop, and mobile, with projects, file creation, web search, and connectors. Team and Enterprise add shared projects, central billing, SSO, and admin controls. The Team help article says workplace connectors include Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub, Microsoft 365, and Slack.

Individual plans on the same pricing page are Free, Pro, and Max. Pro is $17 per month with the annual discount ($200 billed up front) or $20 if billed monthly. Max starts at $100 per month. Those are one-person plans. A shop with two or more people who need a shared bill looks at Team.

Anthropic says Team and Enterprise model training is none by default. Prices on the help article are for US customers and exclude tax. They vary by region.

These are examples of how an owner might use the tool. They are not customer results, and they are not a promise that the product will do the job by itself.

Plans

Figures are from Anthropic's pricing page and the Team plan help article.

Team, Standard seat

$25 per member per month billed monthly, or $20 per member per month billed annually. Minimum two members, up to 150 seats. Standard seats include 1.25 times the Pro plan's per-session allowance, plus a weekly limit. Limits are per person, not shared across the company.

Team, Premium seat

$125 per member per month billed monthly, or $100 per member per month billed annually. Anthropic says Premium seats include 6.25 times the Pro plan's per-session allowance. You can mix seat types.

Enterprise

Anthropic's pricing FAQ says $20 per seat per month, billed annually, plus usage billed at API rates. It includes Team features plus SCIM, audit logs, custom data retention, and role-based access. Self-serve and sales-assisted options are both on the pricing page. The seat fee does not include a token allowance.

How an owner would use it

Invoicing follow-ups

Drop the invoice facts into a project and ask for a reminder that matches the last one you sent. You still send it from the books. Claude should not invent the amount.

Missed-call replies

Keep a short project with your tone and the jobs you do. When a call is missed, ask for one text and one email, then send the version you would actually say out loud.

Scheduling

Use Claude to tighten reminder and no-show wording. Booking still happens on the calendar link you already give customers.

Reporting

Paste a week of real numbers and ask for the three things an owner should notice. If a figure is missing, it should say so.

Hiring

Turn the work a role actually does into a posting and a welcome note. Pay and legal wording stay with you.

SOPs

Projects are a decent place to park one process, the files that explain it, and the latest version of the steps. The SOP hub shows how to write the process before you automate it.
