Zapier AI for business

Zapier AI for business is Zapier's automation product plus its AI add-ons. Every plan includes basic access to Zapier Agents, Chatbots, and MCP. Copilot helps you build Zaps. You pay for a plan level and a monthly task allowance. A task is a successful step, not a whole workflow.

What it is

Zapier's pricing page splits the product into a plan (Free, Professional, Team, or Enterprise) and a task tier. A self-serve subscription is both. Exceeding the allowance pauses usage or switches you to pay-per-task billing, depending on the plan. Agents and Chatbots are optional add-ons with their own prices, outside the task count. This page does not repeat add-on prices that were not in a simple table.

Free includes 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps that are two steps, Copilot with a daily message limit, and basic AI access. Professional unlocks multi-step Zaps, premium apps, webhooks, AI by Zapier, and filters and paths. Team adds up to 25 users, shared Zaps, shared app connections, and SAML SSO. Enterprise is custom, with unlimited users, SCIM, and custom data retention.

Zapier says Agents can be taught company knowledge and can work across the apps you connect. Basic access is on every plan. A premium agent add-on is separate.

These are examples of how an owner might use the tool. They are not customer results, and they are not a promise that the product will do the job by itself.

Plans

Entry prices are the annual figures on Zapier's pricing page for the smallest paid task tier shown. Monthly billing costs more on that same table. Enterprise is custom.

Free

100 tasks per month, two-step Zaps, Copilot with a daily limit, and basic access to Agents, Chatbots, and MCP. One seat.

Professional

Multi-step Zaps, webhooks, and AI by Zapier. The pricing table shows 750 tasks at $19.99 per month on annual billing, or $29.99 on monthly billing. Higher task tiers cost more. One seat.

Team

Up to 25 users, shared Zaps and app connections, and SAML SSO. The table starts Team at 2,000 tasks for $69 per month on annual billing, or $103.50 on monthly billing.

Enterprise

Custom. Zapier lists unlimited users, SCIM, advanced admin controls, custom data retention, and an annual task option.

How an owner would use it

Invoicing follow-ups

A Zap can watch the ledger and send the reminder you already wrote. The prompt is the wording. The Zap is the send. Do not burn tasks on a two-step test you meant to be a filter.

Missed-call replies

If the phone system can hand Zapier a missed call, the Zap can text back. If it cannot, write the text with the prompt and send it by hand until the trigger is real.

Scheduling

Calendly and a mail tool are a normal Zap: booking in, reminder out. Keep the copy short enough that you would send it yourself.

Reporting

A scheduled Zap can email a sheet you already maintain. It should not invent the cells.

Hiring

A form can become a task and a welcome email. The posting still needs a person.

SOPs

Write the SOP first. Then automate the one step that is the same every time, such as creating the checklist when a job is marked won.

Questions owners ask

What is Zapier AI for business?

It is Zapier with Copilot, AI by Zapier on paid plans, and basic access to Agents, Chatbots, and MCP on every plan. You still buy tasks. Agents can be a separate add-on.

How much does Zapier cost for a small team?

Free is 100 tasks a month. Professional starts at $19.99 per month on annual billing for 750 tasks. Team starts at $69 per month on annual billing for 2,000 tasks and includes up to 25 users. Those are the entry rows on Zapier's pricing table, not a quote for your volume.

What is a Zapier task?

Zapier says each successful step in a Zap, and each programmatic call such as Zapier MCP, uses a task from your monthly allowance.
